Video Promo Site for Musicians

Upload your music promo videos, for free!

I was waiting for this to happen - Even thought about it myself but the costs of providing the bandwidth for downloading videos are frightening. Nevertheless, it was only a matter of time before someone came along that was brave enough to do it... and here they are, My Music Player TV.

It's basically YouTube, but for music-videos only, ie... your music videos.

... in fact, the interface is exactly the same as YouTube as far as I can tell, barring the colour-scheme.

It's free for you to both upload and have your movies hosted there - which is not to be coughed at. How successful the site will actually be in terms of getting your name out there to "real listeners" - by which I mean non-musician-types that will convert to loyal fans - remains to be seen. But it's surely worth your time in submitting any vids you might have, seeing as it's free.

Plus, as far as I'm aware - and I could be wrong - this is the first site to do it (in this specialised form), which could be a good thing if you jump on early and surf the ride - First-mover advantage and all that!
