Pro Tools Or Cakewalk Sonar?
Question relating to...
Cakewalk Sonar Studio Recording
Asked by: Charles L
I always ask this because Pro tools can be a costly system to use. I have been using Cakewalk since it was Cakewalk Pro 9.
I am constantly looking to advance in my studio so I always wonder if Pro Tools would be the advancement I need. The only reason I get from Pro Tools users is that it is the industry standard. I dont give a sh*t about other studios lol. I record, mix, and master my own stuff. I know its better to get someone else to master but, yeah I do a good job.
I also hear that Pro Tools isn't the most user friendly program. Also I am hearing that if you are not using pro tools HD then having pro tools LE is not much (to buy). HD is $$$$.
So someone tell me beside the industry standard bull why they thnk Pro Tools is better.

The professionals in the industry all use Pro Tools - I know many recording engineers.
