What's The Best Software For Recording Music Played On A Usb Midi-Keyboard?
Question relating to...
Absynth

I've got an M-Audio Keystation 49e MIDI-Keyboard connected via USB and I have yet to find some decent software for recording music from it. I've already tried SoundStudioII, Music Planet, and Absynth 3 but they are all not near as easy as GarageBand on OSX. I don't have a mac, and won't have one soon. ..So that's out of the question.
Absynth 3 is very good, but it has a 3 minute recording limit that I CAN'T Seem to raise!! Having 700GB of space, 1GB of Ram, plus a Creative Audigy2 Soundblaster card...That's just insane. Anyone have experience with Absynth 3 or know of a REALLY GOOD Midi-Keyboard recording software for WindowsXP. (i.E. The best?)
I've tried FrootyLoops studio, but I couldn't get it to recognize my keyboard input. M-Audio is a pretty big brand for Midi-Keyboards, so they have a good stance in hardware support I would assume
