How To Record My Mix On The Same Pc As The Mixing Software.?

I have a laptop and a program called Virtual DJ 4. I have set up the mixing software to use the internal sound card of the laptop to split the left and right channel and play the two tracks that way. I have an external mixer which has a master output that I can connect to the external USB sound card I have but as soon as I try to record from Line In on the external card, there is a ground loop that appears and I do not know how to proceed with recording my mix because I want to use the external mixer and not the mixer of the DJ program. Any suggestion to record my mix with the same PC I have?

Go to Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Sound Recorder.
You can record the mix over here
