My Realtek AC'97 Soundcard on Intel 845GVSR Board starts skipping sound when it comes to Games or live media. Is there a problem with hardware? Its a built-in sound card

Sounds more like your computer's lacking processor power or low on RAM.
What is your processor speed and how much memory are you working with
