What is the difference between a Creative X-FI Xtreme music soundcard and X-FI Platinum? I know the Platinum has a front drive bay but I'm interested only in the actual card spec's.

X-Fi Xtreme Music is the soundcard packaged on its own. The Platinum edition comes packaged with the 5.25 inch bay drive and a remote. The cards are both identical. Check the link below for card specs from Creative:
